In yet another investigation into the possible link between taking Wellbutrin and increased sexual desire, it was found that a guy using antidepressants experienced a significant increase in the intensity of his desire to engage in sexual activity while he was taking the medication. He had been taking Wellbutrin in the past to treat his depression and manage its symptoms. The patient was anxious and desired to discontinue use of the medication; but, before doing so, he sought the advice of his healthcare professional. However, after doing a thorough investigation into his prescription history, it was found that sertraline had been added to his routine at one point in the past. It was determined by the medical professionals that Wellbutrin was not the culprit in causing the hypersexuality; rather, it was the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor.
What are the side effects of Wellbutrin (Bupropion)?

Can Pregnant or Breastfeeding Mother Use Wellbutrin (Bupropion)?
If you are pregnant, you should discuss taking this medication with your physician. There is insufficient evidence to determine whether or not bupropion poses a risk to an unborn child. If you suddenly stop taking your antidepressant, you run the risk of experiencing a return of your depressive symptoms. If you become pregnant, you should contact your physician as soon as possible. Do not begin taking bupropion or stop taking it without first consulting your doctor.
