Abubakar Mohammed, 25, who is thought to have escaped from a prison, has been detained once more by police in Kano State.
This was said in a news release given to DAILY POST and signed by Command SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa.
According to him, a group of Operatives assigned to the command’s Criminal Investigation Department apprehended the suspect on September 23, 2022, at around 1800 hours, based on reliable information.
Abubakar Mohammed Sadiq, 25, of Badarawa Quarters, Kaduna North LGA, Kaduna State, was reportedly rearrested in Rangaza Quarters, Ungogo LGA, Kano State, according to a police official.
According to him, the Nigerian Correctional Service’s Kano State Command received a directive from the commissioner of police to hand over the alleged escapee.
He pleaded with the people to keep up their prayers for the State and the Nation, to report illegal activity to the local police station, and to refrain from enforcing the law themselves.
