Profile:
Zhang Chi joined NCC in September 2011, leaving his hometown Anhui for Shanghai to pursue opportunities in the medical device field. Initially entering the company with a background unrelated to science, engineering, or medicine, he applied for a sales position but quickly realized his passion lay in learning the technical and clinical aspects of electrophysiology.

Eager to understand products in depth, he interned in the after-sales department to learn about EEG, EMG, and IONM devices, while also supporting marketing tasks. His curiosity and dedication led him to study medical equipment manuals, reference books, and anatomy software, gradually building a solid foundation in neurophysiological monitoring.

With systematic training from Dr. Minghui Liu and hands-on experience in clinical settings, Zhang Chi transitioned into the clinical team. He spent time alongside senior specialists, gaining practical experience at multiple hospitals, including Shao Yifu Hospital affiliated with Zhejiang University. One of his most memorable experiences was assisting Dr. Bi in Yunnan, where he witnessed the resilience of patients and the critical importance of precise electrophysiological monitoring.

In early 2025, Zhang Chi officially moved to the Engineering / R&D department as EMG Product Manager, focusing on optimizing EMG systems and improving surgical workflow. His work bridges the gap between clinical feedback and product development, ensuring NCC devices meet real-world surgical needs while maintaining high-quality standards.
